Meet your guide and begin with an introduction to Willemstad and Curaçao’s history. Learn how the natural harbor helped the city develop as an important Caribbean trading center.
Walk through Punda, the oldest historic district of Willemstad. See historic streets, colorful buildings, monuments and important architectural features while learning about the development of the city.
Stop along the iconic Handelskade to photograph Willemstad’s colorful waterfront buildings and learn about the city’s Dutch-Caribbean architectural character.
Walk across the Queen Emma Bridge, the floating pedestrian bridge connecting Punda and Otrobanda. The bridge is one of Willemstad’s best-known landmarks.
