Day 1Arrival in Apia, Samoa – Overnight Transit Stop

Arrive in Apia, Samoa, the gateway to Tokelau. You’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for the night. In the evening, meet your guide and fellow travelers for a trip briefing.

Day 2Ferry to Tokelau – Voyage Across the Pacific

Board the MV Mataliki, the government-operated ferry to Tokelau. The journey takes approximately 24–30 hours, depending on sea conditions. Enjoy meals on board, relax on deck, and prepare for life in one of the most isolated places on Earth.

Day 3Arrival in Nukunonu Atoll – Village Welcome

Arrive at Nukunonu, Tokelau’s largest atoll. You’ll be warmly welcomed by your host family or guesthouse. Settle in and get introduced to the local way of life—no cars, no crowds, just friendly faces and endless lagoon views.

Day 4Cultural Exchange & Island Tour

Arrive at Nukunonu, Tokelau’s largest atoll. You’ll be warmly welcomed by your host family or guesthouse. Settle in and get introduced to the local way of life—no cars, no crowds, just friendly faces and endless lagoon views.

Day 5Lake Geneva and Château de Chillon

Spend the day learning about Tokelauan customs. Visit a communal fale (meeting house), watch weaving and carving demonstrations, and enjoy traditional dishes made from breadfruit, coconut, and fresh fish. You may be invited to join a village singing or dance rehearsal.

Day 6Day of Rest or Optional Visit to Another Atoll (weather permitting)

Depending on schedules and sea conditions, you may visit Fakaofo or Atafu, the other inhabited atolls. Alternatively, spend the day relaxing in the village, joining in crafts, or walking the island’s footpaths. Enjoy a farewell communal feast in the evening.

Day 7Return Ferry to Samoa
