This tour is ideal for cruise ship passengers. Upon arrival exit your ship and walk to the security gate (there is only one security gate) where you will see a guide holding Across Caribbean excursion banner. The guide will welcome you to Bonaire and direct you to board your van for the start of the tour. You will drive off to a city tour through downtown of Kaya Grandi. Kaya Grandi is the main street with numerous shops selling ice creams and restaurants. You will be dropped off in Kralendijk, which is five minutes’ walk away from the cruise terminal for a chance to be able to do some shopping and walk around. Continue to harbor village where boats come in for shelter when big waves come toward the island. Pass by Tran’s world Radio Bonaire, and have a chance to take pictures of the wanders of the sea and Hato You will be drove to Sabadeco, Bonaire, here you will see the most affluent part of the island and the local guide will tell you more as to why the rich are coming to Bonaire. Proceed to the 1000 steps, queen’s Highway Bonaire. Here you will get out of the vehicle and walk around taking unlimited photos of the beautiful scenery of the clear blue ocean. If you can’t walk down to the beach because of the steps you will stay at the top and enjoy the beautiful view. Pass by Tolo Divesite, from a distance you will see the beautiful scenery where water level was many years ago and one of the best diving spots on the Island. Continue your journey to Karpata, where you will receive the history of the enslaved people living on Bonaire. The guide will show you the building where women and the children were staying during the week while the man continued going to the south side of the island. Proceed to Rincon, where you will see oil tanks. Then to the beautiful scenery of flamingo in the background and the tallest hill on the island called Brandaris, depending on the day, you will see the flamingoes very close up, sometimes they are very far. This is a reserved place for flamingoes and you will not be allowed to be out of the car. Next stop at Rincon, the oldest town on the island where everything started many years ago and see the oldest buildings on the island. Continue to Cadushy Distillery, and see how they make liquor and spirits from local cactus and you can have a complimentary tasting. (The distillery is open from 10 am to 5 Pm from Monday to Saturday.) Pass by Bonaire land sailing where you can see people sailing on land. You will also see the splashing waves hitting the cliffs on the coastline with sometimes a lot of donkeys walking around until we reach downtown. Continue to Seru Largu going up to a hill where you will be able to see Bonaire from above via stop at North Salina and Antriol, the second old neighborhood on the island where Indians have moved. At Mid-day stop at the Te-amo Beach which is a public spot near Bonaire’s airport and the donkey beach where local family and friends gather on the weekends for celebrations. Pass by Belnem and Delfins beach resort, a new resort with a lovely pool. Stop at Hima Hooker, where you can see a ship wreck, a famous spot for divers. Your next stop will be at the Salt Pier, walk around for pictures. Here is the most beautiful stop on the island because on your right-hand side, you will see the two blue colors of the ocean, and on your left-hand side, you will see the pink water with the white foam on the ground coming out from the salt water. Lastly stop at slave huts at white Pan, Bonaire where you will be able to experience how the enslaved people were working on the island and where they were sleeping during the week. End your journey with a drop of back to the port.
