Exotic Barbados Island Tour
Explore Barbados' unparalleled beauty and historical treasures on this scenic tour around the perimeter of the island. Beginning in the social and commercial hub of the island's capital, Bridgetown, you'll get the chance to delve into the rich history of Bridgetown's Garrison, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See first-hand why some of the world's wealthiest people have made Barbados's turquoise beaches their home as the tour takes you up the west coast to Holetown, the first British settlement, and on to the quaint seaside town of Speightstown. Next, it's a taste of truly unique Barbados beauty: on the northern tip of the island, you'll find the Animal Flower Cave, an accessible ocean cave with steps leading inside, a coral floor, sea anemones, and natural rock pools. From the seas to the skies, grab your camera for sweeping views from Cherry Tree Hill, indulge in a refreshing rum punch, and devour a delicious Caribbean buffet lunch while taking in the East Coast breeze. You'll want to keep your camera handy for the rugged Scotland District, famous soup bowl surf spot, breathtaking panoramic views at St. John's Parish Church, and a guided tour of a local plantation house. Today you will head to the Harisson Cave. The Barbados Tourism Encyclopedia describes Harrisons Cave as one of the Seven Wonders of Barbados. At the cave, you will board electrically operated trams that will take you through the extensive system of caverns while experienced guides will give you historical information. The Barbados Harrison's cave is truly a phenomenon of nature. There are excellent galleries of stalactites hanging from the cave's roof and stalagmites reaching up from the ground, with emerald pools and pillars that have joined over thousands of years. The dramatic lighting will enhance your visit. Depending on the crowds, your time in the cave is approximately 35-45 minutes. From there, you will journey to the magnificent Hunte'sHunte's Botanical Gardens. You will meander along the pathways and find many surprises amongst the lush tropical plants. The rare exotic foliage grows densely in this landscaped gully; amongst them are antiques and other beautiful decorative pieces. You might spot the occasional bird or animal who loves the place as much as you will - it is truly an enchanting experience. Lastly, you will be served refreshments and take in a scenic view of the Barbados landscape as you drive back to the port Accommodation: Accra Beach Hotel Meals. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
St. Nicholas Abbey, Cherry Tree Hil & Animal Flower Cave
St Nicholas Abbey is located in Saint Peter, Barbados, a plantation house, museum, and rum distillery. Colonel Benjamin Berringer built the house in 1658. This house is one of only three genuine Jacobean mansions in the Western Hemisphere. It's similar to the English Jacobean-era manor houses of the first half of the seventeenth century, the period between the Tudor and Georgian styles, beginning in the reign of James I. We visit North Point Barbados for the incredible views. The Animal Flower Cave is also located at North Point, but this tour does not include the entrance fees. From Dec to April, Humpback whales migrate through the Caribbean. North Point is one of the famous viewing sights.Accommodation: Accra Beach Hotel Meals. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
